So police are breaking the law?, this is not news. Also am I reading this right ?, the law is dependent upon self reporting by the police? If so it was bound to fail IMO.

I read the article, the issue I have with this is that the it does not include any factual evidence that this is a problem? How many campuses have denied a consérvate speaker that students invited? Instead they use anecdotal evidence to create this illusion of suppression. i don‘t believe consérvate voices have any trouble being heard on campus or in the media. This is just a political maneuver to signal to their base… nothing to see here time to move on.

@Wa'il Ashshowwaf Army 2nd Lt, the stop was due no license plate and tinted rear window. He drove to a well lit area before stopping. Once the officers reached the SUV, the plate was visible in the window. Officers shouted conflicting orders. The officers attacked him once he was out of the car.

I don’t know this young women, but to me it seems like she’s trying, and I’m prying for here and her kids to get a break.

My brother is in a for-profit prison. They recently gave iPads to all inmates (for free) and now charge per email, per video, per song, etc. It was a business decision. It’s basically a form of psychological torture as far as I'm concerned. "Here's an iPad, hope you have enough money to *do* anything with it!" For-profit in prisons is a most disgusting thing.

Can we stop calling officers for mental health emergencies.

Police seem to take the lives of our young men without abandon, This is some fucked up shit!
