Saying that all protesters are good and all cops are bad is a hard argument to win. Sure the BLM movement will go down in the history books as a huge change in the US but you cannot claim they are all good. What about the BLM protestor that shot the cops on cold blood in Dallas. Or the two murders that happened in CAZ, or the ones that burned and looted while others were tying to be peaceful. January 6th was different because they not only were protesting, they were going after our democracy. People have to learn how to protest peacefully. Saying that all police are guilty of racism is trying to change the definition of racism. One example- Arresting George Floyd was because he was on drugs and trying to commit fraud. Cauvin murdered him out of severe negligence. Claiming he was racist just based in these two things shows that anytime something happens to a person of color is a racism thing. Again, there are racist cops but there is also racist BLM members that practice reverse racism like the fella that forced a random stranger to their knees and made them beg forgiveness. Calling all cops racist is also not an accurate argument. So perhaps listen to what your friend is saying. If you have to ask for help to win an argument, perhaps you need to learn more on both sides. A handful of police brutality victims does not justify violence towards others.
