Several of the Texas Democrats who performed the recent walk-out protest are in D.C. this week to meet with members of Congress and Vice President Kamala Harris, to make their case for stopping the passage of Senate Bill 7. The Republican-led bill would place further restrictions on voting accessibility within the state, which Democrats argue would purposefully and maliciously bar several of the states' voters from casting their ballots. They further aim to reignite a sense of urgency to craft and pass legislation which protects voters and voting access.

I wonder if there any marches or events around this in DC. We should try and create more awareness on Bill 7, I’m sure people would be shocked at what the bill is actually proposing.
