My brother Jamaull Jones was shot in the face by APD (Atlanta Police Department) on August 9th, 2022, after responding to a 911 call from an individual that my brother was being paid to move their furniture for them. After my brother and the person with him to help with the move showed up to the address, the caller refused to let them do the job. The family was told that something transpired between the caller and Jamaull that resulted in the 911 call. The facts are still unclear in that matter. Fast forward 32 days later, and the family is being told that Jamaull is on “end-of-life” status. The bullet entered my brother right cheek and lodged into the back of his neck. He is currently on life support in ICU at Grady Memorial Hospital at the moment. Tomorrow the family has decided to remove him from life support and allow him to transition peacefully. We ask for any assistance with the cremation process. We are in dire need of financial assistance right now.
