Claudette Colvin is a civil rights activist who made a statement in the 1950's. This statement had a return, lifetime probation, mandated by the courts of Montgomery, Alabama. We are here to support Miss Colvin and have this punishment removed. Lifetime probation is an unusual punishment and an especially cruel one for a 15 year old girl who refused to give a seat on a bus.
