GTA V is cheaper
Hi everyone!
A friend told me that you can buy GTA V for less and still play with all the features as usual.
I'm not sure if they meant buying a Steam key elsewhere or using a non-Steam version, like the Rockstar Games Launcher. Either way, I'm wondering if:
- It's legal (not pirated).
- It includes full access to GTA Online.
- I can still play with friends who have it on Steam.
- It's safe to buy (and where exactly).
If anyone here has done this or knows how it works, I'd really appreciate some advice!

The game itself is independent of whether it's Steam or the Rockstar Games Launcher. Almost always, even the Steam version launches through the Rockstar Social Club, so you essentially get the same GTA V with access to GTA Online and all the features. Cheaper options are usually official keys, like the GTA 5 enhanced key which is for the updated version of the game with improved graphics and optimization.
