After COVID (yes, I believe there will eventually be an 'after COVID'), the tax credit will likely need to be reviewed and adjusted, since some families who lost their jobs because of the pandemic will likely begin working again. Still the tax credit should stay in some form.
With social services and schools taking such a hard hit, parents from low-income households and communities should get financial assistance for their children.
