The gretest impact of the George Floyd trial was that it not only got justice for that man, but got justice for Freddie Gray, Travon Martin, and so many other African Americans who were killed through excessive use of force and didn't get have fair trials, or had trials at all. That victory has encouraged today's protesters to continue speaking out against, and filming policy brutality. Enough public and legal pressure is on police departments from Minnesota to D.C. to properly train their officers.
