Come and stand with us at the National Domestic Violence Rally this Friday from 12:00-4:00pm at the United States Capitol. This rally marks the ongoing issue of violence in intimate relationships in the United States and the world. According to the National Coalition against Domestic Violence, 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner. 1 in 4 women are severely abused by a close partner and 1 in 9 men are victims to severe abuse by a partner as well. This issue transcends gender, gender identity, and sexuality, it is an issue concerning us all.
