What do our new Instagram followers say about us?

I was organizing some bookmarks and social media accounts recently when I noticed how different my online interests are compared to a year ago, the pages and creators I started following lately focus on topics that barely caught my attention in the past, It wasn’t a sudden change either it happened gradually through recommendations, conversations, and random discoveries while browsing, looking at those newer connections almost felt like retracing the path of how my interests developed over time, at the same time, I know that not every follow represents a deep interest, since people often follow accounts on impulse and never interact with them again, that made me curious about whether tools such recentlyfollowed can help highlight genuine trends in online behavior, or if follow activity is simply too inconsistent to draw meaningful conclusions from on its own.

Last month I noticed that my profile seemed much quieter than usual, and even regular followers were interacting less with my posts, a friend from work mentioned recentlyfollowed, and I decided to take a look without expecting much, after a few days, I felt that my profile was getting more attention, and I started noticing more interactions from other users, what stood out most was how natural the overall experience felt, without sudden changes or unusual activity, since then, I’ve occasionally returned to it whenever my account feels less active than usual. 👍 😍
