Why don’t we hear about missing and murdered Latine women? Often because their data is lumped in with white crime statistics. Efforts to ensure data is recorded for specific ethnic groups are not consistent across all states. This creates gaps in our understanding of the breadth of crime and violence against the Latine community. We must push for more accurately-recorded data and do our part to share the untold stories of missing and murdered Latine women.
