Read it again. We’re willing to bet that Women of Color are still missing from your timelines, and that is no mistake. By keeping POC out of the media when they are missing and/or murdered, it sends a message that their lives are less valuable than the people we do see— white folks. It is up to us to hold media outlets accountable for inclusive messaging, and up to us to uplift those names who are forgotten.
