In the past year, the U.S. has experienced seismic cultural and economic changes, many that have tested our values and threatened to unravel the very fabric of our country. While all Americans continue to face significant challenges, it’s critical to understand the state of our union through a feminist lens. Please join National NOW president, Christian F. Nunes and Feminist Majority president Ellie Smeal for a series of pre-recorded discussions with leading activists to better understand what democracy looks like for women in 2022. Focusing on issues including constitutional equality, economic justice and voting rights, the Feminist State of the Union will explore the events that impacted women’s lives in the last 12 months, and will try to chart a course to push our movement forward in the years to come.
