This Black Maternal Health Week, we are honoring Kira Johnson and her family. Kira Johnson tragically lost her life after a routine C-section when doctors refused to take her concerns seriously. Her husband, Charles Johnson, started 4Kira4Moms to advocate for improved maternal health policies and regulations. He is determined to do everything he can to make sure this horrible tragedy never happens to any other family, which is why we must support the Build Back Better #MomnibusAct!
