To conclude our Young Racial Activists spotlight for Black History Month, we would like to honor Oluwatoyin Salau and the impact she has had on an entire community. Oluwatoyin spent her time advocating for Black Trans Women and was a prominent figure in the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020. Although she passed early that year, her impact has been immeasurable. Today we remember her as an outstanding activist for Black people everywhere.
